Description

A blood-like control based on lyophilized hemoglobin with total Hb (tHb) and fractions of Hb-derivatives FO2Hb, FCOHb and FMetHb. Multiple levels are available covering the clinically relevant ranges to verify the performance of CO-OXimeters. This material is ideal for Proficiency Testing (PT).

Intended Use

HemoxiTrol is an assayed real hemoglobin control intended for professional use in the verification of the precision and accuracy of CO-oximeters. The purpose of this quality control is to check wavelength and absorbance calibration and other performance related characteristics when measuring total Hb (tHb) and fractions of Hb-derivatives FO2Hb, FCOHb and FMetHb.
